Lovely, clean, heated pool in a scenic setting. Also, I geeked out over the pool plant room 🤦Book in advance. Friendly staff.

It’s a great place to visit on a warm day. The pool is fantastic. It’s lovely to swim when when it rains and even in a colder day. Nice changing rooms. Good showers. Snacks and coffee for sale on place. They check the pool every two hours so make sure it’s safe and clean to swim in. If they need to clean it it will be closed for a while and then reopen again. It’s quite a quick process so you can have a coffee and wait. If you want an open water swimming pool- Lido - then this is as good as it gets!

I don't want to review this, one of my favourite places, because part of me wants to keep it a secret. The better part of me, though, tells me to do the right thing. This charming, historic open-air pool in a wonderful setting is run by volunteers. They're amazing. I hope this place gets all the funding it needs to keep well-maintained and to ensure it thrives for generations to come.

I love this place and the kids have so much fun. However, today was a nightmare for drop in swim. I know you can't control crowds on a lovely day but we queued for an hour and half and got to the gate and wasn't sure if we could get in. People pushing in and not waiting their turn and not joining the queue (I know very English of us)!! It certainly won't stop us going because it's a beautiful place but it does put you off. Maybe some communication to the people waiting or open up two payment systems. But ...I do thank the volunteers for their hard work and dedication as it wouldn't exist at all otherwise

Drop-in sessions most of the day on Sunday. Not particularly busy. Stunning heated pools (though not super warm), and the poolside tuck-shop is a welcome addition!
